
Rebecca Cameron
Co-Chair Working Group International GenevaRebecca is a Swiss-Australian dual national with over 25 years of experience as a legal professional. Her career spans private practice, non-profits, and international organisations, where she has provided strategic legal advice and designed compliance frameworks. Currently, Rebecca is responsible for Legal and Compliance at the HD Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue in Switzerland, an organisation dedicated to preventing and resolving armed conflicts through mediation and discreet diplomacy. Previously, Rebecca worked for UNICEF, where she established a legal unit for the Private Sector Fundraising Division and oversaw private sector partnership agreements. She also served as a Governance Specialist, advising on the structure of not-for-profit networks raising funds for international programmes, while promoting best practices for local boards and compliance. Her extensive background also includes work in claims and reparations programmes at UNCC and IOM. Additionally, Rebecca brings practical litigation and corporate law expertise, having worked on large scale insolvency and claims for breaches of director’s duties.
