The working group Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption has the pleasure to invite you to the following event:
“The New EU Anti-Corruption Directive: A Game Changer for Companies?”
Date /Time: March 18 from 5 till 6.30pm
Location: Bayer Schweiz, 6th floor, Grubenstrasse 8, CH 8045 Zurich
The European Union’s new Anti-Corruption Directive introduces significant changes that will directly impact private companies operating in or connected to the EU market. The Directive raises expectations for robust internal compliance systems, governance frameworks, and transparency standards.
Companies will need to assess and, where necessary, adapt their policies, procedures, and risk management structures to ensure alignment with the new requirements and to mitigate regulatory and reputational risks.
During this event, Michele Tagliaferri will provide an overview of the Directive’s key provisions and outline the practical steps companies should consider in preparation. The presentation will be followed by an interactive Q&A panel session moderated by Claudia Götz Staehelin and Patrick Wellens.
Participants will gain:
- A clear understanding of the Directive’s core elements
- Insight into the practical compliance implications for private companies
- Guidance on proactive measures to align with the new regulatory landscape.
