Rolling a Square Wheel: Improving Risk Assessments by Converting from Periodic Step to a More Continuous Process
Periodic risk assessments never achieve much, because the focus is always on finishing. Effective risk management doesn’t work that way. Most people agree that moving to a more continuous process would be more effective, but they aren’t sure how to do it.
This webinar will provide some solutions by focusing on individual components of the risk assessment cycle that can be made more continuous, rounding off the edges of your square wheel so that it rolls along. Some of the areas to be discussed that create these opportunities include understanding risk context, identifying risk drivers, analyzing risk relationships, evaluating risk appetite, better utilizing technology and data, and many others.
Why should you attend?
Risks are emerging and changing more rapidly than ever. Using the same annual or periodic risk assessment process can’t keep up with these changes, and likely won’t meet regulator expectations, nor will it effectively manage risk. Participate in this webinar and come away with ideas that can be implemented immediately and over time to make risk assessment a continuous process.
