Whistleblowing and Higher Education: Integrity, Reporting Channels and Institutional Responsibility

The speaker will examine integrity initiatives and reporting channels at Swiss higher education institutions and provide a practitioner’s perspective on developments in the field of whistleblowing. The presentation will explore how universities and research institutions can promote transparency, protect individuals who raise concerns and strengthen institutional integrity.

Speaker: Dr. iur. Michael Daphinoff, LL.M.

Michael Daphinoff is an attorney-at-law and partner at Kellerhals Carrard. He conducts investigations for companies and public authorities, represents clients in business and white-collar crime proceedings, and advises institutions and companies on compliance and corporate governance, particularly in relation to whistleblowing systems and integrity management. He also serves as the reporting office for the ETH Board.

The presentation will be held in German.
