Nurgul Cakir

Co-Chair Working Group on CMS/ISONurgul Cakir co-chairs the ECS Working Group on Compliance Management Systems (CMS) and ISO together with Dominique Casutt and Chiara Varlese. Nurgul Cakir is a Group Senior Compliance Manager at Holcim, where she supports the transformation and digitalization of global compliance processes. She is a qualified Turkish lawyer with more than fifteen years of experience in legal and compliance roles across multinational and local organizations, with a strong focus on anti-bribery and corruption, antitrust and competition law, and governance frameworks. In her current global role, she is responsible for leading the end-to-end compliance risk assessment process, consolidating global compliance KPIs, and implementing digital compliance solutions. Prior to joining Holcim, she served as Compliance Manager for Europe and Strategic Projects at BRF in Vienna, where she oversaw the European compliance function. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal roles at BRF SA and Ferrero in Istanbul, and practiced as an associate lawyer advising multinational and local clients in the automotive, energy, aviation, and banking sectors. Nurgul graduated from Koc University Law School and holds a Master of Arts in International Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action from the International Anti-Corruption Academy. She is admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association.
