Season’s Greetings

 

As the year 2014 closes, ECS can celebrate its 7 months of existence.

These months have been intensive for the Board of Directors and the Secretary. They have included working to set up a web site, introduce ECS to the Swiss community, and develop a plan of activities for 2015. Among the activities that could be organized already in 2014 were benchmarking exchanges with other compliance associations and a session on the specific compliance challenges of small and medium sized enterprises.

2014 has also served to prepare us for 2015. In the coming year we have a variety of activities planned to meet the various needs of our members. Key to drive forward our agenda are our Working Groups. Working Groups are open to ECS Members – please register, if you would like to join one or more of them.

Besides the specific activities of the ECS, we will bring again to your attention in 2015 conferences, seminars, and courses by others that might be of interest to our members. We also would like to encourage networking among our members. Our new year event on January 29, 2015 will help with this goal. The Board will also discuss the idea of a member directory that would be made available only to our members. If this is an idea that you would like to see us pursue, please let us know.
