On 1 September 2023, the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) published the document “Interpretative Guidance for Sanctions Measures”. This document replaces the “Interpretation of Articles 12, 13, 14, 14a, 14c, 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 28b, 28d and 28e of the Ordinance on Measures in Connection with the Situation in Ukraine (SR 946.231.176.72)” and contains a general section on the sanction measures applicable in Switzerland.
