Since 6 December 2023, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) provides the complete lists of sanctioned persons, companies, and organisations as well as the XML files in a new format. From 1 April 2024, all users must be able to process the data in this format.

To simplify this implementation, SECO recently published an example of a list of sanctions on its website, where multiple sanction-set-ids are associated with the same target ssid. SECO has stated that additional modifications to current entries will be released and conveyed through the customary channels at an appropriate time.
